The BP-1 features
VetSpecs® breakthrough noninvasive blood pressure technology - the Volume Plethysmographic
Method (VPM), which shares the same principle as the Doppler Method. The VPM is
totally automated.
All you need to do is to wrap
a cuff and a sensor band (see the picture above) on a limb or the tail of
the patient.
The VPM has been proven to be effective, accurate, easy-to-use in cats and
dogs of all sizes, and suitable for both monitoring and diagnostic blood
pressure measurement.
Unlike all other existing noninvasive blood pressure technologies, the VPM provides a real-time pulse rate, a pulse bar graph, and a heartbeats sound, making the BP-1 ideal for monitoring in intensive and critical care.
Simply hang the BP-1 on the cage door or an IV pole. A raincoat protective case is included.
