Blood Pressure Monitor
Developed specifically for monitoring blood pressure (BP) and pulse rate in intensive and critical care cats and dogs, the Tele-BP employs VetSpecs® breakthrough noninvasive blood pressure technology - the Volume Plethysmographic Method (VPM) and VetSpecs® state-of-the-art digital telemetry, which allows to monitor a patient located as far as 30 meters (about 33 yards) away.
The VPM shares the same principle as the Doppler Method, but is
totally automated. All you need to do is to wrap a cuff and a sensor band
(see below)
on a
limb or the tail of the patient.

The Tele-BP provides a real-time pulse rate and
continuous pulse waveforms, as well as systolic, diastolic, and mean
arterial pressures. And the averages of all registered readings are also
displayed. See the
picture below.

The Tele-BP automatically saves all registered readings
on a USB flash drive (see below). You can then take the flash
drive to your computer to transfer saved data to the computer.

The transmitter box (see the picture below), which can
be hanged on a cage door or IV pole next to the patient, can be up to 30
meters (about 33 yards) away from the monitor. In other words, the
patient can be located at anywhere in your hospital while the monitor can be right in front of you.
