VetSpecs® Capno-M

Miniaturized Bluetooth Capnography and Multigas Monitor

1.5” x 1.65” x 1.73”, 38 x 42 x 44 mm, 80 g (with rechargeable battery)

Miniaturized Mainstream Capnography

Designed for spot check and continuous monitoring of the patient’s ventilation in surgery, procedural sedation, intubation, pre-op preparation, anesthetic recovery, emergency, critical care, and transport, the Capno-M is the ultimate portable capnography monitor, which provides

  • CO2 Waveforms
  • End-tidal CO2 (EtCO2)
  • Respiratory Rate (RR)

Optional Multigas Monitoring

The Capno-M can also monitor one of the five anesthetic gas agents (Sevoflurane, Isoflurane, Halothane, Desflurane, or Enflurane), pre-selected by the user in the menu, and displays the inspiration and expiration concentration values of the selected anesthetic agent.

You may initially purchase a Capno-M with only capnography, and trade it up for a Capno-M with both capnography and multigas later at any time.

Bluetooth Connection

While designed for independent use, the Capno-M can be wirelessly connected to the VetSpecs® SM100 for integrated multiparameter monitoring.

The Capno-M can also be wirelessly linked to the 5.6” display platform of the VetSpecs® WM5, as shown below. Upon connection, the display platform enters the capnography mode to display the following information, provide a respiratory sound, and save registered waveforms, readings, and trend graphics on a USB flash drive for digital documentation and printing out a monitoring report.

  • CO2 Waveforms
  • End-tidal CO2 (EtCO2)
  • Respiratory Rate (RR)
  • Fractional Inspired CO2 (FiCO2)
  • Trend Graphics for EtCO2 and RR
