I. Wireless Vital Signs Monitoring

For monitoring in anesthetic recovery, pain management, and intensive or critical care, the display platform, which can be placed up to 60 feet (18 meters) away from the patient, displays one line of ECG, one line of respiratory waveforms, a heart rate, a respiratory rate, and a temperature reading, as shown in the top picture, provides heartbeat beep sounds and respiratory sounds, and saves registered waveforms, readings and trend graphics on a USB flash drive. You may take the flash drive to your computer to transfer the saved data, compatible with all practice management software systems, and print out a monitoring report through any office printer.

II. Wireless ECG Screening

ECG Screening Mode

Developed also for ECG screening in your exam or treatment rooms, the WM5 records ECG with no cables or wires between the patient and the display platform. Simply set the display platform in the ECG screening mode with one push of a button, which displays three cascading lines of ECG on one screen, as shown above. In ECG screening, the WM5 saves all registered ECG on a USB flash drive. You can transfer the saved ECG to your computer, review and print them out through any office printer (see the print sample below). You can also send the ECG via email for consultation, and save them to your patient database under your existing practice management software system.

III. Wireless Connection with VetSpecs® Capno-M

The display platform is compatible with the VetSpecs® Capno-M, shown below. When the WM5 is not used for the vital signs monitoring or ECG screening as described above, you can use the display platform with the VetSpecs® Capno-M for capnography monitoring in preoperative preparation, procedural sedation, surgery, anesthetic recovery, or critical care.

Connected to VetSpecs® Capno-M

VetSpecs® Capno-M

When wirelessly connected to the Capno-M via Bluetooth, the display platform saves the waveforms, readings and trend graphics, transmitted from the Capno-M, on a USB flash drive for digital documentation and a printed monitoring report, and provides the following, as shown above.

  • CO2 Waveforms
  • End-tidal CO2 (EtCO2)
  • Fractional Inspired CO2 (FiCO2)
  • Respiratory Rate (RR)
  • Trend Graphics for EtCO2 and RR
  • Respiratory Sounds
